Give Madison leaders credit for looking at race in public works

So Madison hired what appears to be a white-run company to study whether Madison is failing to hire enough minority-run companies?

Of course it did. It’s just another of many small ironies in a city that assigns great importance to racial equality and equal opportunity and yet finds itself saddled with some of the starkest racial disparities in the nation.
