African-American Detailer Abused With Racial Slurs, Jokes, Federal Agency Charged
DETROIT - Lafontaine Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Inc., a Highland, Mich.-based automobile dealership, will pay $75,000 to settle a racial harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today. The EEOC had charged that Lafontaine unlawfully subjected a black employee to a racially hostile work environment.

Detallador de Autos Afroamericano Abusado con Insultos Raciales, Chistes, Agencia Federal Acusó
DETROIT - Lafontaine Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Inc., un concesionario de automóviles con sede Highland,,Mich. pagará $75,000 para resolver una demanda de acoso racial presentada por la Comisión para la Igualdad de Oportunidades en el Empleo (EEOC), la agencia anunció hoy. La EEOC había acusado que Lafontaine ilegalmente sometió a un empleado negro a un ambiente de trabajo racialmente hostil.
