PETALING JAYA: Malaysia will continue with affirmative action policy for the bumiputra in reshaping the economy but will make things more equitable for non-bumiputra, Datuk Seri Najib Razak said.
The Prime Minister said the implementation of affirmative action under the New Economic Model would be reviewed but not its overall objectives, as the aim was to develop a more equitable society towards long-term stability.
“It (affirmative action) should be fairer, more transparent and market-friendly.
