SCHENECTADY, NY -- With a largely white labor pool, Schenectady is aiming to diversify its workforce through active recruitment and education for minorities.
"It's absolutely essential that you are representative of the people you serve," said Schenectady Public Safety Commissioner, Wayne Bennett.
